UPDATE: (2:10 P.M. Thursday, Oct. 24) - Lawrence County, Ohio, 911 dispatchers say the 31st Street Bridge between Huntington and Proctorville has reopened after a crash sent multiple people to the hospital this morning.
(WOWK) - At least three people, including children, have been taken to the hospital after a crash on the 31st Street Bridge between Huntington and Proctorville, dispatchers say.
Lawrence County 911 dispatchers say the call for the crash first came in around 10:45 a.m. Thursday. According to Cabell County 911, three vehicles were involved. Dispatchers from both counties also say the bridge is currently shut down due to the crash.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol, Lawrence County EMS and Proctorville and Chesapeake volunteer fire departments responded with mutual aid from the Huntington Fire Department and Huntington EMS.
